22.06.2010 | Roadshow in Düsseldorf very well received!
Proving again that the WHU Programs are worth getting to know, over 35 guests attended the Post-Experience Management Programs Roadshow at the prestigious Wirtschaftsclub Düsseldorf on June 16th. The evening was an interesting and productive one as potential candidates for the WHU Full-time, WHU Part-time and Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA were able to “sample” lecture quality that awaits an WHU MBA candidate, as well as receive detailed information for the three very differentiated programs.
After a welcome address by Academic Director Professor Jürgen Weigand, MBA and EMBA lecturer Professor Peter Witt took an interesting and humorous look at “Corporate Governance – only scandals or also some new ideas?”, during which he presented and discussed corporate governance developments in light of the recent financial crises. As always, the audience raised several thought provoking ideas regarding this and other corporate governance issues.
After an enlightening presentation which highlighted the commonalties as well as the differences in the Full-time, Part-time, and Executive MBA Programs from Professor Weigand, the guests had the pleasure of listening to, and questioning, Alumni from the programs during a relaxed panel discussion. The Alumni provided an honest and positive perspective of what to expect during and after the program, as well as, the professional and personal benefits of pursuing an MBA under the WHU umbrella - including excellent teaching, fellow classmates and a solid network of graduates worldwide.
The evening continued well into the night as guests enjoyed an appetizing flying buffet and drinks while meeting with Program Managers and staff, Alumni as well as potential students from the broader Rhine area.
